警察是个特殊的职业。作为民警家属更是值得尊敬的特殊群体。他们时常要独自支撑家庭重担，默默承受比常人更大的生活压力。他们是公安工作最坚实的后盾。9月13日，我局召开首都警察家属日暨2011年和谐家庭表彰大会。五百个核心民警家庭受到表彰。九月十三日是农历的八月十六。首都警察家属日暨2011年和谐家庭表彰大会在北京人民警察学院隆重举行。市委常委市公安局局长傅政华，公安部，市委政法委，市总工会，市妇联等相关领导，以及市公安局民警代表与500个和谐家庭民警及家属，援疆，维和民警，公安英烈家属近千人欢聚一堂，共庆中秋佳节。在受到表彰的和谐家庭中，有常年默默无闻支持丈夫投身公安事业的好警嫂。有主动为身为公安民警的妻子承担家务，照料孩子，老人的好丈夫。还有双警家庭的民警夫妇。傅政华局长代表市公安局党委向全局广大公安民警，现役官兵和家属致以节日的祝贺。他希望民警家属们一如既往地关心，支持首都公安事业关系的发展，激励民警不断拼搏奋进，共同谱写首都公安队伍和谐发展，创新发展的新篇章。表彰大会结束后，与会的民警和家属还观看了首都警官艺术团和民警家属同台演出的精彩文艺节目。在首都警察家属越活动中，市公安局还邀请了名医，专家为民警和家属开展义诊和心理测试，健康咨询活动。同时多警种还向大家展示了警犬训练，消防器材的使用，特种车辆驾驶证科目的表演。让民警家属在一饱眼福的同时，进一步增强了对亲人们所从事的公安工作的理解和支持。
